Snowtubing for New Years

New Years Day we headed up to Pine Valley to go tubing with the Moore's, Taylor, Summer and Tim, and Zak and Heather's older kids. It was so much fun. Kade, Becky, and My parents stayed back at the cabin with the younger ones.

2 of my favorite people.
Tim the dare devil. The first time he went down the hill, he connected with a tree but that didn't stop him.

Rocky came down on his behind hard on this jump.

He couldn't get enough of the sleds. Taylor tried and tried to hit the jump but couldn't. Poor guy.

We only had one injury that day but a bunch of sore muscles. It was so much fun, I am so glad we went.

Goodbye 2009 Hello 2010

Sad to see another year gone but we are ready to welcome 2010.
I want this year to be different.
I want to be Kinder, Nicer, HAPPIER, Spiritual and HAPPIER.
Here's to 2010.

New Hat

I found this pattern on line and had to make it. This is the first one I made and and after making this one I realized that I needed to make the brim stiffer and the other ones turned out so much better. But this one still looks so cute on Em.

the flower just might be a little overpowering, not sure about it.

CHRISTMAS

Christmas Eve Chris and I stayed up until 4 in the morning on Christmas Day helping Santa get things ready. We got the kids up around 7 and they were so excited. Ryker got a cell phone, a Ipod docking station and games for his wii and psp

Emerson got a darling kitchen, a polly pocket roller coaster, and Liv dolls.

Kaige got a DSI, games, a portable DVD player, movies and a starwars toy.

Jaxton got games for his PSP, a portable DVD player with movies and legos.

Slatin got construction trio blocks, legos, and a roller, bobcat, and trachoe

Chris totally surprised me and had gave me this. I love it. It has our names on it with our marriage date and then all our kids. It is gorgeous. He had a friend do it and I couldn't be happier. I think he needed to make up for him getting a TV for christmas.

We really had a nice Christmas .

Christmas Eve

For Christmas this year we had the kids draw names and the gifts they were to give were to be home made. I really liked this idea but next year we will have to start alot earlier so that the work doesn't fall so much on mom and dad and the kids can help more.

Slatin had Emerson and with his dad's help made her a cradle for her dolls.
Ryker had Slatin and he gave him Rubber band guns.
Emerson had Kaige and made him a flag football set.
Go Denver Bronco's and Steelers

Kaige had Jaxton and made him a rag quilt with his football team
Dallas Cowboys.

Jaxton had Ryker and made him Pajama pants.

We took a vote and the kids had so much fun they want to do it agian.

Jumping Jacks

We spent Christmas Eve day at Jumping Jacks with the Moore's. I have never been but it was alot of fun. The kids young and old had a blast. I think we might have to head back down there this week to work out all their energy.

Uncle Sam and Andy were trying to catch Kaige and Hailey

But Kaige and Hailey were too quick for them.

Dad had to show the older boys how it was done.

FHE With the Beatty's

I was in charge of the monthly Beatty FHE. This is what I came up with. The kids had a "BALL".

Even the adults got in on the action. Sadly after a wipe out I came in last.

Deacon and Ellie inside the Giant ball.
After Summer's turn in the ball she had to take a little break. (the kids rolled her all over the gym and she got a little sick poor girl)

The kids pushing Rocky all over the gym.

I love this picture.

The balls were a hit. The kids came home with happy hearts and ready for bed. The parents came home with sore and tired bodies. I think we will have to do this agian.
