Oh My

.I have to clean my kids bathroom 3 times a week. I am blaming boys. Aim better please. And wipe the toothpaste out of the sink when you are done.

.my husband likes to remind me how lucky I am and if I can handle being married to someone who is always right.

.lots to do and no motivation to do it.

.Just got my bill from the big white building. Yikes. No Fun.

.I think I have a craft problem.

.Emerson wants a sister even if it means going to an orphange to get one. She even promises to share her toys and clothes. She just wants sisters like the Moore's have sisters.

.Raising teenagers is HARD.

.Sports takes up soooooooooo much time.

.I need to be nicer, alot nicer.

.I need more time and I need to manage my time better.

Halloween crafting

I started decorating for Halloween and have had these vinyl words made for awhile and finally finished them.
I turned my mae dolls into cute little witches.
And Chris, the wonderful hubby that he is took these

and made it into this

The plan was to use this for my gift for the annual Halloween party but I can't part with it now. I like it to much. Now to come up with another idea for a gift.

I love yard sales

Chris and I went to a yard sale today. After looking around I decided to go sit in the car while Chris was still looking. Lucky for me he still wanted to look because this is what he found tucked in the back. 2 old doors for only 5 dollars a piece. I love the doorknobs on them. I can't decide what to do with them. One idea I have is to make an entertainment center and cut one of the doors in half and use them for the door on the entertainment center with the old door knob as the handle. Ideas, Ideas. Chris is lucky he found these for me as he was in TROUBLE this morning. Maybe he has redeemed himself. Just maybe....... Maybe after he helps me make another bench.....Maybe.

I am so excited..................

This is my wedding dress. I know that Ms Em will not want to wear it when she gets married but I wanted to do something with it. Well Ms Em is going to be getting Baptized in April (my baby is growing up way to fast) and with the help (okay she is doing ALL of the work) of a wonderful sister in my ward she is making a baptism dress out of my wedding dress. I am so excited. We took the dress over last Sunday and picked out the pattern. I can't wait and I know Ms. Em is so excited as well.

Red Rock Relay

Chris ran the Red Rock Relay this past weekend with 11 other teammates. He had so much fun.
They had 2 vans and 6 teammates rode in one van and the other 6 in another. He was able to race with 2 of his sisters and niece as well as my mom and aunt. He has done a race like this 2 other times but he had so much fun this time. He was able to spend time with his family and race. He ended up running a total of 28 miles. He was tired and a little sore but had a blast.
Kyle Gubler took these pictures.

John the driver, Tami, Jill, Lindsey, Teresa, Paula and Chris.
Heather, Sandi, Dorena, Amy, Sabrina, Robbie and Martha the driver.

Denim blanket and spiders

Ryker's blanket is finally done. I am so glad to be finished. He loves it and I never want to make a demin blanket again.
My sista Summer made me a darling spider clip and then she did the next best thing and showed me how to make them. Here are some I have made. They are so much cuter in person.

These little cuties are made for some very special gals. I hope they enjoy and I hope they wear them.

New Project part one

We bought 2 of these headboards and footboards at the DI for a project that I have been wanting to make for a long time. I have needed the help of my handyman and finally roped (ok maybe he felt bad for me ) him into helping me.

Big dog also helped out.

and the final results......

I had to make some fabric pumpkins to sit on one of them.
Now comes the hard part. I have to sand these babies down and then paint them. I think that will have to wait until I feel better but for now they have cute pumpkins on them. Can't wait to get them done and decorated for fall.

Thankful

Friday we spent the afternoon at peach days. Emerson had to perform with her cute little dance group. They did a great job. Later that day we had Amberly take Slatin and Em's pictures

I love them. Thank you Amberly so stinkin' cute

Saturday got up early to get Ryker over to the parade. I woke up feeling pretty crummy, my right arm and shoulder were killing me and my fingers were numb, but had to do MOM duty, once the parade was over we headed back home because by then my chest was really tight and hurting.I was feeling yuck. Chris was hiking Angels landing and when I got ahold of him we both decided (ok he had to force me) to go visit the big white building in St. George. After several hours we were able to come home. I have to admit I got scared for a minute when they got me right into a room and 5-6 people came rushing in, hooking me up to moniters, IV's, running several test. But then things settled down and were ok. I am thankful for my Husband who I know loves me very much even when I am being difficult and insist I know what is best. I am thankful for my family who stepped in when needed.I am thankful for the Wilson's and for their love and friendship. Sorry I had to hurry you off the hike. I am thankful it wasn't something Much worse. Things will be fine. I will be fine. Life is good.
And today Chris helped (ok he did all the work I just supervised) me with a project I have been wanting to do forever. I will post pictures when I feel up to finishing it.

Go Tigers

Ryker is playing football this year and last week was their first game but I (hard to believe) forgot my camera. Today they play in Moapa. They won last week, lets hope they win tonight. I made little treats for him and the boys I pick up and took them to the school today for a surprise. I hope they enjoy.
I finished up all the pillows for Ms. Em's bed
The owls (do they look like owls?) aren't suppose to be on her bed she just had to put them there today.

Em got her hair cut last night and this morning she let me blow it dry (after bribing her) and I think she looks beautiful.

I am making Ryker a quilt for his bed and it is taking FOREVER. I like things to come together quickly and that isn't happening with this quilt. I have never made a jean quilt and already I have had to cute out over 250 6x6 squares and we are still not done. My goal is to have it done this weekend.

Listening in.

Yesterday evening I went to pick up 5 boys from football practice. They were a sweaty hot mess and smelled great. They were talking back and forth and I was just listening to their conversation. One of the boys asked the other boy if he shaved yet. The boy (I guess I should be calling them young men) said yes and the first boy said (almost in awe) do you use shaving cream and the other boy said no.... with whipped cream. which the first boy replied shut up dude. It was so funny. Then all 5 boys started talking about different shaving cream commericals. I love listening in on the kids conversations. They crack me up.
