Someone is ready for Spring

Kendra, Emerson thanks you for the swimsuits

Emerson and her friend wanted to get in swimsuits and run thru the sprinklers today. I convinced them to just put on swimsuits. She is not the only one who can't wait until Spring. Next week is Spring Break and I hope we have good weather. I want to really plan and do some fun things with the kids. We have been so busy that it will be nice to play play play.

Good Day

Yesterday was a busy day but a good day. Chris took Ryker to his soccer game at Snow Canyon yesterday morning and I finished up the rest of the potatoes. I ended up with 30 more pints. In the last month I have bottled 100lbs of potatoes. I am SICK of potatoes. Chris called me and told me they were having a great deal on potatoes at farmers and did I want to get another 50 pounds. I had to pass. I also made granola and Yummy Ginger Snaps while my potatoes were cooking. When Chris got home we worked on the yard and the boys and him fixed all the bike tires and off they went.




We also set up a batting thing for Jaxton to practice his swings. We all took turns hitting. This will be great for the boys.
It was a busy day but such a good day to get so much done. I love these days. We topped the night off spending it at my parents celebratind my Dad's birthday. He cooked us hamburgers for his birthday. What a great guy.

Pillows and curtains

After watching my friend Kendra make curtains. I decided to attempt it today. I bought some cute fabric for Em's room and borrowed my mom's machine. They aren't perfect but I am proud of them. I made her a pillowcase and a matching throw pillow

My friends are all making Easter dresses for their girls, and I am jealous, but I think I will have to stick with curtains. After I saw their "Simple" patterns there is no way I can do that yet.

I was just given a new calling this week. I will miss primary and my cute primary class. This was my favorite class to teach. But I am really excited for this new calling. I am over prepadness. If any of you have any ideas I would love to hear them. I am going to be doing 72 hour kits on April 11th. It will be open to anyone who wants to make them.

Ready Set Go

Summer challenged me to a wiggle car race. We started at the top of my parents hill

And Summer won. I admit I was a little nervous to race, You go so FAST but it was alot of fun.

Strawberries and Kaige's new suit

I had a friend give me some strawberry starts and we don't have our garden tilled yet so I grabbed some planters and decided to see how they will do in these. I hope well. I am so excited to plant a garden and to be able to be able to use what we have grown. I think it will be so good for the kids as well.



Kaige finally got his suit and looked so sharp on Sunday. Last but not least is Jaxton.
Don't ask me what is going on with Emerson's hair. (I Promise I she didn't wear it like that to church) She is such a stink to dress and do hair. I finally get a girl and she has her own mind. It isn't fair.
