Day one of Spring Break....Park Day

To start Spring Break off a bunch of us went to this new park (at least to us) my friend Kendra found. We packed a lunch and spent a couple of hours there. The kids had a blast and I got to have some adult conversation. The weather was beautiful. It really was a fun park.

After spinning around on this Slatin was out for the rest of the time. He was so sick. Poor guy.

Savings

Today I got up and left the house really early this morning to finish up my shopping.
Smiths is having the best deals and you don't even need coupons for some of the deals.
They have American Beauty Pasta on sale for .49 cents. What a great food storage item. I ended up getting 10 spaghetti and 10 elbow. They also have the quaker snacks that Chris LOVES for .49 a bag. I had to stock up on those as well. Powerades are .49 cents and with all the kids I have playing sports what a steal. I also was able to get a killer deal on some frescetta pizza and cereal

I also ran to Albertsons and they have a Great deal on Capri suns. 1.20 a box. I grabbed a bunch of those and they had there triscuits and wheat thins on sale and I ended up walking away with a bunch of those for .50 cents a box.

I know some people roll their eyes when I talk about coupons and savings but I know we would not have been able to build up our storage with food we like as fast as we have with out doing this. I love getting great deals.

We are heading out to a fun park today for lunch and letting the kids have fun. I hope we are able to do a bunch of stuff and play, play, play

Look whose come to visit...

Kendra had to town for some emergency dental work and we got to watch Andilyn and Addison. I figured since it was spring break and Andi was already here she might as well stay a couple of days. I think she was excited. She told her mom that this is the best day ever. Hopefully she has fun. I know the kids are super excited to have her here.

Soccer Family

Today we went to Rykers game. Our 20th game in 2 weeks. Crazy days. Ryker is in a club soccer and so he plays on Saturday. He played at Pine View today. This was his second game and he was still at little nervous. He does better each time. His coach does a great job with them.

We just signed Kaige up for a soccer academy that he is really excited about. The coach from Dixie College Boy's Soccer team is over it. It teaches them soccer skills. Soccer is Kaige's passion and he does really really well at it. So we thought this would help him even more. Chris set up soccer goals in the back yard. I was pretty impressed. He took our old trampoline and made goals out of them. What a great dad.

Winner

My Wonderful sister Summer came over to shower (again) My parents have not had hot water for over a week and so Summer has been a daily visitor. We are so lucky. I don't know why she didn't want to heat up water and have a sponge bath like others.
She was so kind to draw the winner for me.
