Emerson's Baptism

Saturday Emerson was baptized by her dad. I didn't think I would be as emotional as I was. She looked so beautiful in her white dress. We were so touched by those who made the effort to come. We did have a major meltdown before we left but for the most part she was an angel.

Monday on Kaige turned 12 and I enlisted the help of my wonderful sister to come and take him for ice cream so we could throw him a surprise party. And boy was he surprised. It was worth the time and effort to make this happen to see his face. Priceless.

The Gang.

We played the flour game where you if you knock the gumball down while slicing the flour you have to pick the gumball up with your mouth.

We did a lifesavor relay game where they passed the lifesavor from one toothpick to another.

This game they had to find a gumball buried under whip cream chew it and blow a bubble before they could pass off to the next team mate.

Who says Friends can't kiss???? we passed an orange from one neck to another Jonathon attacking Trey.

a> It was a fun but messy party so glad the weather was nice so we could have it outside.

Happy Birthday Kaige. I can't believe you are 12 years old today. It blows my mind that I you are old enough to go to Young mens. I am so proud of you and the young man you are becoming. You have such a good sense of humor and so willing to help others. We love you so much. Happy Birthday.

EM, Your Killing me.....

After spending over 25.00 dollars this week in underwear we have found some that she likes. She has a closet full of clothes and wears the same pair of cut off jeans everyday. I have to wash them every other day. She has 3 shirts that she will rotate (even though I took her shopping to pick out others they still hang in her closet ) Her hair is done the same way EVERY day, a frenchbraid in front to hold her stupid (her words) bangs that she wishes she never let me cut, back. Em, my only little girl. Your killing me. But I love you.

TeePee's

The weather was beautiful this last weekend so the kids got to bring out the teepee's They spent all afternoon playing in them with their friends.

New Beds

I am so lucky and so is Slatin and Kaige. Chris spent the weekend making new beds for Kaige and Slatin and they are LOVIN them. They started out like this..... and turned into this Now Em wants one. Chris is so good to give up his time to make things for me. I am so lucky. He is a such a good guy.

Meet Fin

We came home Sunday night to something fishy. The younger kids were jumping up and down they were so excited. We named him Fin. They did ask me if I killed him would I get them another? Thanks kids. Em is so cute with the fish, reminding me to feed the fish while they are at school and she scratches the bowl to play with the fish. Thanks mysterious (we know who you are) gift givers.
