Finally

Ryker got his braces off 2 weeks ago. Now only 3 more to go.

Update

This is my project for this weekend. I went and bought all the supplies and I can't wait to make it. It is made out of coffee filters. Just hope my fingers survive I found a new crochet stitch on pinterest (love Pinterest) and maybe went a little crazy. I have 3 of the bubble stitch done and 2 more in the works. The Chevron blanket I LOVE but I don't know if I will make it again. IT TOOK FOREVER. I like to finish a blanket in a couple of days this took me forever. But I love the look of it. The bubble stitch is hard to see in the pictures but the stitch sticks up. Really cute.

Ryker got asked to preference last weekend and is really excited to go. I still can't believe I have a son old enough to date. She brought it over before he got off work and I might have been a little excited for him to come home and find it. Chris was making fun of me because I might have been just a little excited.

Soccer has started up again. They don't have long breaks in between. Kaige is finishing up his basketball season. I think they have 2 or 3 games left. His team has done really well, only losing one game so far. He and Jaxton also do a soccer clinic twice a week and then we started throwing in soccer practices, makes for 2 busy boys. Ryker is practicing twice a week and works twice a week. Slatin started practices this week and Em is loving clogging. Busy, but life is good.
I do Activity days twice a month and for the most part love it. We have a big group but I love the girls. They just put me in Nursery and we will see how that goes.

My Belly is hungry

This kid is eating me out of house and home. On Sunday for Dinner he had 2 sandwhichs and an extra slice of bread along with 2 hamburgers and fries and chips. Where is he putting it????????? The other day he had 6 bowls of cereal. He must be going thru a growth spurt because he is always eating. He told us when my belly is hungry then my belly is hungry and I need to eat.

New Years Eve

Summer and Tim invited us and Taylor and Ellie to come and celebrate New Year's Eve with them.

Sleepover with the Moore's

Kendra and her girls came down over Christmas break and one night they got to spend it at our house. They all wanted to sleep together so I put them in the living room. It was wall to wall kids.

I had my mom make this skirt for Em, months and months ago. I finally got her to wear it when we got her some brown boots. Has she worn it since NOPE.
She drives me crazy.

Boys and their guns.

This is what happens when you go to war with your older brothers and their friends. Can you see the red mark on his neck?

He tried to ambush them from the roof of the house but his gun wasn't as powerful as theirs and he had no where to hide.

Christmas Morning 2011

We told the kids we would let them get up at 5:30 to open present but when we thought we couldn't hear them we waited until 6. When we went down to wake them up we found out they had been awake since 4:30 but were quietly waiting for us to come get them.

Santa must have thought they were all good because they all got what they wanted. Emerson got a Karaoke machine, a barbie camper with a barbie doll and lots and lots of Polly Pockets and houses.

Ryker got a Kindle with a free book, a video game and a gun

Jaxton got a video game, some legos and really cool board game and a gun.

Kaige got a soccer video game with indoor soccer shoes, some Halo legos and a gun

Slatin got a bunch of trucks, cars and a gun.

One Happy boy.

The family got an xbox with Kinect and some fun games
Dad also got a gun. His gun shoots water bullets.

Em also got a gun but when she opened the present she kept saying this isn't mine, this isn't mine. I told her she would want this to defend herself from her brothers. Later in the day she was glad she had a gun.

The guns

These guns shoot wet paper bullets (spit wads) and and they can shoot up to 100 ft.

After church we headed over to my parents to eat and open more presents

It was a really nice Christmas day.
