Homecoming 2013

Homecoming 2013. Jaxton's first date and first dance. Ryker asked Megan Barton. He asked her with Dibs ice cream. With a note inside the container saying I have dibs on you for homecoming. She answered back with a carton of sherbert. If I was Ernie and you were Bert I'd say Sure bert. Jaxton asked Ashley Stackhouse with a a jar full of army men and a letter of his name written on random army feet. She answered back with the frozen army men. I can't remember how see tied it together but it was cute. They had a fun group and I was so impressed with how modest all the girls dresses were. I was also impressed with the young men. They planned their date around the priesthood session so they were able to attend that. Great Group. We were going the have the dinner on my parents back deck but with the weather changing suddenly we at the last minute decided to have it in our basement. Thanks to an amazing Husband we were able to pull if off and it turned out really nice. Summer made the corsages again. Loved how they turned out. We layered them with a chain and a string of pearls. I have already told her to plan on helping out for prom.

Prom 2013

Ryker took Kelci to the prom this year. They started the day off with their group  with some shooting,  lunch, Fiesta Fun, came home to get ready, pictures, dinner and dance. Kelci looked beautiful and Ryker so handsome. I think they had a really fun time.

Aunt Summer made Kelci's corsage and Kelci made Ryker's. They both turned out really nice. Kelci's has 3 strands of pearls that wrap around the wrist. Summer outdid herself.

Family Night Fun

While Chris and Kaige were having a mean game of ping pong, Slatin entertained us all with his mad jumping skills.

Then Kaige and Jaxton had to get in on the fun.

Emerson's Birthday Party.

Emerson wanted to have an art party for her birthday. We decorated T-shirts with paint and then they made safety pin bracelets. It was fun

Spring Break

 This has become our life. Ryker and Jaxton are both playing on the High School Soccer Team. Ryker is Varisty and Jaxton is JV. So Tuesdays and Fridays we spend about 4 1/2 hours watching them play. Kaige and Slatin play club and their games are on Saturday and I just signed Em up with Hurricane City and her games start this week. Busy, busy.

 Last week the games were miserable, wet and cold. Miss Em hated every minute.

 Saturday we spent the day at my parents helping them with thinning their trees, that night we had a BBQ with some of the family and the kids had to have a tug of war. Kaige against Deacon, Tripp, Hadley, Talan, Emerson and Slatin.

 This kid is eating me out of house and home. He has grown like crazy this year. He is 4 years younger then Ryker but wearing the same size of shoe, and the same lenght in pants (not waist this kid is skin and bones) and his voice, wow it has changed. He eats like crazy and I don't know where he puts it. Yesterday he had 6 tacos and was STILL hungry. I am going broke :)

It has been a fun laid back spring break. Just what we needed.

Preference 2013

Ryker was asked to Preference by Kelci Stone. She decorated his room with candy hearts and playing cards and he had to find the card with the clue. He answered her back by decorating her room with SEVERAL bags of army men and put it would take an army to keep me from going to preference with you.

They had a great time.

Deb Shearer helped the girls make these cute stick ponies this summer. Em LOVES her's. Deb Rocks!!! She also helped them make cute boy and girl fairy dolls and corn husk dolls as well.

 I think we went thru alot of powerade this summer.

 Ryker played on a futsal team in St. George. It was fun to go and watch him.

 It has been just a little over a year since I took the leap off the bunk bed. I have been wanting Chris to lower it for sometime and finally he gave in. It was a big project but I love it.

 First day of school. Just as I went to take the picture Jaxton grabbed Kaige's hand to hold it. Kaige didn't think it was too cool but we all laughed

 Em performed at peach days with her clogging group.

 and Chris and Patrick performed as well. They rocked it.

 This is what can happen when you don't wear your long sleeved goalie shirt to play goalie and you dive for the ball. Turf burns hurt!!!!!!
