Homecoming

Ryker asked Jaylin to Homecoming this year. They spent the day hiking and playing and then that night we hosted the dinner at my parents house. Earlier in the day the kids, Chris and I went over and cleaned off the porch  and hung lights and placed jars with lights all over the back deck. It turned out really nice.

Beatty Family Reunion Saturday

Saturday we spent the day out at Quail. We (the Steglich's) had 3 soccer games that we had to be to so Chris dropped me and the younger 3 off and took Ryker and Jaxton to their game and then came back we played and then headed back into town to Kaige,Jaxton and Slatin's games.

 and she is on. It was sooo funny. And the funnier part is once they got her out there and zooming across the lake she flew off and her bottoms went to her knees as she skipped across the lake, baring it for all. Kendra you can thank me later for sharing this.

It was a busy day but a fun day and so glad that Summer and Tim planned it. The adults all went to dinner that night. We were not able to make it because we were finishing up soccer but they had fun. Sunday we all met at my parents church and went to sacrament with the them. Can't wait until next year. 

Beatty Family Reunion Friday

September 7th thru the 9th was our Beatty Family Reunion. Summer and Tim were in charge this year. Friday night we all met at my parents and enjoyed dinner, visiting, an auction, and a movie outside on the projecter. Every year we have an auction to raise money for future missionaries. Everyone donates items and we bid on on them. The kids all enjoy it and the even some of the parents get in on it.

Gubler Family Reunion

Last Friday and Saturday we had the Gubler Reunion. My mom was in charge and decided to have it up at Uncle Reed's old cabin. I AM NOT A CAMPER. I do not like to camp at all, but I wanted to support my mom and the Gublers so I sent Chris and the kids. Just kidding I went too but I did have to come home friday night with my Dad, I couldn't let him drive home alone, with it being dark and a long drive, and then I headed up with him and Summer early Saturday morning. It was a beautiful place and the weather was so nice. It was fun to visit with family and have fun.

 My man. He was sick but still spent the night with the kids. Em was scared because her cot was by the door of the tent so she laid with Chris on his HUGE cot and she kept nudging Chris to be tell him to please try to sleep quieter. He had an awful cold and was snoring. Too funny

 BOYS---- Friday night when we got up to the place the boys were messing around and Ryker found a can of spray paint and and an old golf club and thought it would be fun to see if what would happen if he smashed it with the club. NOT A GOOD IDEA. Jaxton said he had his back to him, Kaige and Rhett and they heard a loud boom and a cloud of black smoke then Ryker turned around. He was covered.

They started scrubbing it with soap and a scouring pad but that was taking off his skin so my Uncle Kris found some gasoline and they were able to get most of it off.

It was a good weekend.
