Feeding the dog

McKall asked Ryker if he would feed their dog while they were out of town. We headed over to feed him tonight (minus Ryker how does that work out) the kids were super excited to help out. When we got there the dog was so happy to see us, probably a little to excited. Emerson freaked out and jumped up in my arms screaming to get out of there. I think she gets her braveness from me.

Peach Days

Tonight we headed over to Peach Days and met up with my sister Summer, and brothers Kade and Zak and their families. The kids enjoyed the activities and we all had a great time.

Lunch with Dad

Chris is home.. WOOHOO. Emerson had and early day today so we went to lunch. It was fun to spend time with her and of course with Chris. We sure miss him when he is gone.

Rykers first job

Ryker got a job this weekend. He is feeding Aunt Claudia's cows. McKall showed me what to do last night and YEAH....I am going to let Chris help Ryker. The cows are crazy. I think I gave McKall a good laugh and everyone else that was driving by. I am not a fan of animals. But this will be good for Ryker. He is excited.

Homework and Curls

The kids are loving school and their teachers I just don't love the homework. Slatin has an awesome teacher whom I love. I have had her for all of the other boys and I hope Emerson gets her as well. She was in our ward for awhile and was my VT and I just love her. Kaige, Jaxton, and Emerson all have great teachers as well. Jaxton has Mr. L who is also in our ward and he is AWESOME. So good for Jaxton. We are having SEP's this week and they are all doing great. I am excited for them this year. Ryker is liking School as well. He is playing the drums in Band. Help me now. It is hard for me to have them grow up with everything they have to deal with. Last week was a tough week for me with certain things and I really struggled with it. But things have a way of working out when you put your faith and trust in our Heavenly Father. It may not always be what you want but he is there for us. I leaned on him alot last week and I am at peace with things. I have 5 great kids whom I love with all my being. They are good kids who are trying to make good choices and I am proud of them. And sometimes mom just needs to CHILL.

we decided to perm Emerson's hair. She was so good and her hair looks so cute.

So of course I had to get my hair done. Summer put some color in my hair. At first we got nervous when the color looked gray but it ended up looking good. WHEW


Claudia being the nice mom she is was doing Mckalls hair. Sorry Mckall. No she did a good job. We had a fun time.
