Easter

The kids woke up this morning all excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them. They had to go on a treasure hunt to find their baskets. (I made up the clues and I will have to say I take after my mom on clue writing. Pretty sad) They all got some treats, Emerson a CTR necklace and the boys CTR dogtags, and a Church book.

Emerson's New Easter dress.

All in suits except Jaxton who has decided he wants to wait until he turns 12.

Dad got to stay home with us this morning. (No Meetings) WE lOVE HAVING HIM HOME.

Easter Saturday in Caliente

Yesterday we spent the day in Caliente, NV at Kendra and Sam's house. Taylor, Ellie, and Deacon as well as my Parents, Summer, Rocky, Shelby, and Trey joined us. It was alot of fun. When we got there we visited and let Kaige open up presents then we ate lunch and then for the anticipated event.....THE EASTER EGG HUNT.

Kaige got a nerf rifle and a nice farting machine from Aunt Kendra and Uncle Sam. He and his brothers LOVE IT. I heard that machine all the way home (maybe it wasn't the machine I do have a car full of boys) Thanks Kendra and Sam I will remember you both.

These 2 could be brother and sister
Getting ready to hunt for all the candy and prizes

We had such a great time and the only downfall is on the way home we had car trouble. You know I think that is a sign Family that I am right,That is okay to stay IN LAVERKIN.

Thanks for having us Kendra and Sam.

Happy Birthday Kaige

Happy Birthday Kaiger. I can't believe you are 10 years old. We love you so much. You are so kind to others, you have a great sense of humor and you provide us with lots of laughs.

When I had Kaige he had complications and they took him straight up to the NIC unit. We found out that he had several holes in his lungs. Chris gave him a blessing and the next day when they did more test the holes were gone. What a great testimony of the power of priesthood. He is such a blessing in our family.

10 things I love about Kaige
1. His sense of Humor
2. His kindness
3. His love for his family and others
4. He is a great Soccer player
5. Always willing to help
6. He is a great protector for his little brother and sister
7. A peacemaker
8. Loves to hang out with his friends
9. Always trying to do what is right
10. He is a great example to me

72 Hour Kits

For those of you who purchased 72 hour kits and would like to be on KMkits emailing list for a reminder of when to replace your food or other things let me know and I can send it to them. When your food is getting close to expiring they will send you an email that it is time to replace your food and you can purchase new food from them or just use the reminder to update yourself.

Want to hear a sad story about the 72 hour kits.
I got everyones orders together and collected all the money, I called KMkits and gave him the order on Sunday, called him again on Monday and went over the order again, added everything up and on Friday he came we exchanged money for kits and guess what?????
I didn't add my own kits on there. I paid for them I just didn't add it to the list. NICE. The whole purpose in doing this was to get my kits. I was sooooooooo mad at myself. So I will be making my own now going off of what was in the kits that I delivered to everyone else but ME.

Broadway Magic comes to an end

Emerson had so much fun performing for broadway magic. I want her to do it again next year. (hint, hint, Daniela) Thanks Daniela for all your hard work in putting it together. It was alot of fun to watch. Emerson was so excited to watch her cousin Chance sing and perform. She HAD to track him down after the show to see him. All thru the show when he would perform she would lean over to her friends and say "that is my cousin Chance" . It was cute. He did an awesome job.

My poor boys

I am ready for this week to be over with. Poor Ryker and Slatin.
Slatin is having a hard time bouncing back. Kaige had his tonsils out a couple of years ago and I don't remember him having as hard a time.
Luckily Slatin has his cousin Hailey here to help keep him company and his mind off of hurting. She had been so good to him. She has helped me out a ton.
I am hoping by tomorrow Slatin will start feeling a little better. They told me though that towards the end of the week he is going to be really miserable again and maybe into next week. It is like a rollar coaster. The doctor said that after the first day or two they start to feel better and then about day 5 they are miserable again. I haven't seen the up side yet.
Thanks Jansen (and Sunny) for the push pops, that made Slatin's Day and was very thoughtful
Then we have Ryker whose mouth is awful. We finally got the tooth fixed but the roof of his mouth is Huge. It looks like half a golf ball is coming out of the roof of his mouth. All he really has been able to eat since last thursday is slimfast drinks. I would have thought by now it would have gone done especially being on medication.
The dentist was very surprised that it hadn't gone down either and when he was cleaning the tooth he was trying to really clean the infected root and hoping that he could puncture it and it would gush out but nothing really came out. I was surprised Ryker wasn't coming out of the chair with out hard he was shoving the cleaning thing up hit tooth. He said that is should have come to a head and burst (gross, gross, gross) He also said if there is no relief that I can bring him in the they will lance it. so we will see how today goes. I just want him to start feeling better.

Broadway Magic

Emerson had her first performance last night. They did a great job. They are performing the song from Annie "It's a hard Knock life".

Emerson, Zach, and Lexi (part of the group)

I thought she would have been nervous but she loved it. She can't wait to go tonight.
