Slatin joined the LaVerkin Elementary Choir this year and Friday night was his first performance. They performed for the Senior games. He was excited to go sing and dance. The sun was shining right in their eyes.

What do you do on Tuesday and Thursdays?

For us, Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings are spent playing Flag Football. Kaige and Slatin both signed up this year. Being the mean mom that I am, I wouldn't let Kaige play tackle football this year on top of soccer, I just couldn't handle taking him to practice twice a week in st. george for soccer and then the remaining days practice for football with a football game thrown in on one of the days and soccer on Saturday. Just couldn't do it. So we signed him and Slatin up for Flag and next year he can do tackle. He is a pretty good player. I would never have thought that he would do so well in sports with the struggles he had as a baby but he loves it and does well. Almost makes me regret not signing him up for tackle. Almost.

get outta the road

Because our front yard isn't big enough and the backyard isn't done the boys have taken up playing football in the street.

so sorry in advance to all my neighbors and the cars driving down the road. But Hey they are outside, playing together, and getting along.

Look Mom, no training wheels.

I haven't wanted Emerson to grow up. I want her to stay little and be my little girl. So I haven't rushed alot of things sometimes that is good and sometimes it isn't. The other day she came home from school upset because she was the only 2nd grader who was still using training wheels.
Well thanks to her good friend Lexi she can now ride a bike without them.

She does pretty good she just needs to learn how to stop before she makes contact with objects.

Happy Birthday Ryker. 15 Years Old. I can 't believe it. The roads are safe for only one more year. Ryker invited a bunch of his friends over Saturday night to come over and put their gaming skills to the test.

Of Course a game of football had to be played.

we had 3 t.v.'s hooked up downstairs with 2 playstation 3's and an x-box 360 as well,

football and Halo were played non stop with rock band raging in the background. Snacks and candy scarfed.

Slatin

Slatin ordered a spy kit out of his book order. They are glasses with a light on the side and a built in microphone with headphones. He loves them. This is what we saw when we looked up from scripture reading this morning. Too Funny. We love you Big Dog.

Look who came to play

Yesterday I watched Kade and Becky's little girl Hadley while Becky helped at the school. It took her a minute to warm up to me and then we had a great time. She was in heaven in Em's room.
I found a cute pattern to crochet baby leg warmers and a matching hat. Lucky Tripp he got to be my model.

Of course I have to have a hurricane tiger set

I did end up making Tripp a boy set. The were striped and I left the flower off. We have so many new babies coming, I thought these would make a fun gift.
