Monday Chris had it off so we took the kids up to Sheep Bridge. This is the first time we have been up there this Summer.

We played in the sand and built castles
and we were missing one... Here is where we get a parent of the year award. Sunday night we were lighting off sparklers and we now know why it is so important to wear footwear. Kaige stepped on a sparkler that had just dropped on the ground and was still going. We took him in the house to check it out and the smell was awful. It reminded me of when a animal is branded. Yuck. He was really hurting. Can't you tell in the picture.
Today it looks much better. He was more worried about not being able to play soccer than anything. BECAUSE........

He loves soccer. We haven't been able to put him on a team because other than city sports they don't have one set up for his age over here. But we found one in St. George and even though it will mean lots of time in the car it will be worth it.

The castle had a few improvements by the time we left. I didn't take pictures in case Chris didn't approve of Brynlee's upgrades! LOL Congrats to Kaige that will be great!
