Em's new bed

Chris had Monday and Tuesday off with the weather being so wet. So I put him to work. I found this wonderful website that I know a few of you stalk. It gave me the plans for a platform bed with cubbies. Chris went and got the wood Monday afternoon and Monday evening the bed was done just waiting to be painted. I loved it so much I sent him back down Tuesday for more wood for a bed for Slatin. His is almost done (fingers crossed it will be finished this weekend) I have been working on a new bedspread for Em and finally finished it today. So not only does she have a new bed but also a new bedspread. Great Job Honey.

SNOW

I couldn't believe how thick the snow came down yesterday. The kids had to hurry and run out and play knowing it wouldn't last.

After playing it's time for Hot Chocolate.

Dodge, Dip, Dive, and Duck.

For FHE we played Dodgeball. It was alot of fun and we only came away with a few minor injuries. Some people (men) forget how OLD they really are. We will definitely have to do this again.

I found this cool wig pattern that I wanted to make. I wasn't able to get it made in time for crazy hat/hair day, but the kids can still have fun with it. They all want one now.

THING ONE

It's Dr. Suess week at school and last night Em and Slatin decided they wanted to dress up for school the next day. With the short notice this is what we came up with.

Em let me take pictures of her but I was forbidden to put them on my blog. I am hoping she will change her mind. I am just surprised she wanted to dress up and have her hair like cindy lou.

Summer and I went down to my dad's office last night and decorated it for his birthday. It looked lovely. Not really but it was fun. Later today the kids will take him his sucker flowers. Then off to another afternoon of soccer.

Suckers

This is what I made for my Dad. It doesn't look like it but there is a ton of suckers and you really can't see all the blue ones. Not a very good shot.
So for all of you who guessed Suckers you were right, and Sunny since you were the first one to guess I will be bringing you buy some of these. The first batch was difficult to pour because I have never made them before but the second batch was much easier.
