The kids are loving school and their teachers I just don't love the homework. Slatin has an awesome teacher whom I love. I have had her for all of the other boys and I hope Emerson gets her as well. She was in our ward for awhile and was my VT and I just love her. Kaige, Jaxton, and Emerson all have great teachers as well. Jaxton has Mr. L who is also in our ward and he is AWESOME. So good for Jaxton. We are having SEP's this week and they are all doing great. I am excited for them this year. Ryker is liking School as well. He is playing the drums in Band. Help me now. It is hard for me to have them grow up with everything they have to deal with. Last week was a tough week for me with certain things and I really struggled with it. But things have a way of working out when you put your faith and trust in our Heavenly Father. It may not always be what you want but he is there for us. I leaned on him alot last week and I am at peace with things. I have 5 great kids whom I love with all my being. They are good kids who are trying to make good choices and I am proud of them. And sometimes mom just needs to CHILL.

I agree with the homework. Jansen has a lot too. Jordan is doing band this year too. He is playing the trumpet. They stuck him in band 2 with the 7th graders and they have had band a year so he has no clue what is going on so we are getting him changed this week into the other class. Is this Ryker's 1st year in band?
I agree kids grow up way too fast! I love Emmie's curls. I even liked the look of your hair.
Holy Cow -- How are you!!??!! I can't believe you found my blog. I was going to block it to invited people only, but in the last two weeks two friends from the past have found me. How did you do it? I definitely need an update on your family, where are you, how old are your kids, etc etc etc.... Update me when you have time. Can I add you to my blog?
I agree on the homework thing. She does give a lot, but it is so worth it to have her for a teacher. she is great! Emmie looks so pretty. Thanks for being my friend!
I hope this week is going better....It must be hard with Chris's work...if you ever need ANYTHING let me know! I love these blogs, its sooo nice being able to stay in touch!
